Skivvy Roll

Post by Trawlerman »

I found this link online about how to lighten the load of BOB/GHB etc.

In particular I found the section about how to make a Skivvy Roll of your clothes making them compact and easier to carry than just folding them up in the bottom of a bag.

That's fantastic! Beats my current 'roll into a ball and shove it in the bag' technique :D

I really like this, less is definately more here.

I've just created a get home bag and when i finally got round to putting 24 hours of rations in it the weight really incresed by a noticeable amount. So, less food now included and packed more sensibly..

Will certainly use this!! Quality way of using very little space, two of those would mean I had a change of clothes and two pairs of socks!
