hello from cumbria

Post by bobbydog1 »

hi all, im just getting into in the prepping thing.ive always been interested in wilderness survival and the skills involved, but to be fair the chances of being stuck in the wilderness and needing to survive in the uk are fairly slim.you can walk out to safety in most uk places.however the need to prepare for a 'situation' seems common sense and an actual posibilty, weather, power cuts, disease etc.any advice will be most welcome.

Hi from the other side of the A66, Welcome from Co Durham :) unfortunately the only bit of your lovely county I visit a lot is Alston where I often meet up with friends who have bugged to to that area to be more off grid.

Hello and Welcome to the forum. May I ask where abouts in Cumbria you are from? I am from Workington myself.

Though you have just recently started prepping, do you have any preps at the moment?
