Hi from a new member.

Post by preparedsurrey »

Good evening everybody, I've been reading the forums as a guest now on the site for about a month, managed to find the site through a searc for uk survivalists or something similar. You seem a bit less sensational or Americanised than some other forums. I'm not knocking other ways of doing things but I don't think it's really too applicable in the UK. I'm more into being self reliant in the event of TSHTF and being able to look after family rather than going all mad Max if that makes sense? Already have an emergency genny a month or so of food and alternative heating sources in use, also have just picked up a cb for if the phone network is shut down.
I'll post up my area number when I figure it out, its not difficult to work out from my user name !

Thanks for letting me join.
