OMG - Kizzie and Mad Scientist....

I bow to your training and knowledge..... and am genuinely very jealous.... I really believe in the power of herbal remedies, and it does annoy me that we are always pushed to the bit pharmaceuticals for pain killers and basic medication.

I was diagnosed with IBS by GPs a while ago, and was constantly in agony, after getting fed up by the doctors telling me I have to learn to put up with it I went private, to cut a long story short.... peppermint oil and antacids have cured it all.

Im very flattered! But dont be bowing to me I wing it in everything I do. :D If I have something wrong with me ( as I did) I look on youtube and Google for the remedy.
I was on a carrier bag of very nasty meds and now on none and feeling great.

Every pill I was given did nothing to solve what they were given for, but brought along there own symptoms until I was bedridden, Now I am pill and symptom free

Honesty Youtube is amazing for learning how to heal yourself.

I don't know if anyone has come across this guy, but I can't recommend him highly enough. His emphasis is on edible wild plants, but the identification part is very important and he really knows his stuff. This event is in south London, but I know he does some stuff around the Bristol area as well.

Wow, Farnet, well done you to master your IBS like that!! Thank you for the compliment but I'm still somewhat of a novice and need to pore over other people's books!

Happy prepping!

I'm curious, I tend to ask this any time I come accross someone with expertise in herbal remedies; do you know of any natural remedy to control tonic clonic seizures? I've had epilepsy since I was born. I'm aware of the fact that you can't just come off most AED's and that there are the possibilities of contraindications if there is some natural remedy. So far however everyone I have discussed this with has either come up with something that is mean't to improve brain function (I have no issue with memory, encoding etc.) I just wondered if there was anything anyone here knew about natural remedies and seizure control or if we were all burnt at the stake or locked in asylums before pharmacuticals.
Plan for the worst......but enjoy every minute of it.
