MOD survival knife in o1!

Post by MJ. »

after my disappointment with the MOD survival knife inability to take a decent grind and stand up to abuse have decided to make one from scratch using 6mm o1 tool steel. not sure if i should use the original scales or the black and olive g10 i have? i managed to save the original copper washers but would have to use some new 5mm copper rod to rivet the scales
slightly different profile in both the blade and handle and a little longer as well with an 8 inch blade

heres where its at right now with the profile ground...
