Hello from South East Kent

Post by chaotician »

Hi my name is Matt,

I'm new to prepping as a thing in itself, though it does seem to have given me name for what I have been doing unconsciously since I was in the scouts about 20 years ago.

I live right on the coast so I'm planning on using my sea fishing skills a to provide a source of protein for myself and my partner when everything goes tits up (barring nuclear incidents from my local powerplant).

I guess I am looking to prep against a major economic downturn, having to bug in during an epidemic (I'm not sure how practical that is due to the size of our current residence), also how to prep against a flood, a major concern to me living in a coastal town.

I'm interested in brushing up on my wild camping skills and foraging skills, as well as building a Bug Out Vehicle.

Cheers,

Matt H
