Very ,very ,very simple answer wait 4 weeks till they have starved to death , or gassed themselves with indoor primus stoves.

Then go looting.

Be Prepared.
Plan like its the last loaf on the shop shelves.
Plan like its the last beer in the fridge.

If it all went South, no way I would be out there scrambling for supplies. There is a chapter in the book 'Last Light' where folks realise there will be no more food. The description of the scramble is very like what we saw on the so-called Black Friday. We have enough grub and fuel to keep our heads down for awhile.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Robert Frost.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

If you are prepared then hopefully you wouldn't need to. The real answer is you couldn't fight them short of opening up with fully automatic weapons from decent distance so plan not to have too. Don't attract them to your location either.
If guns are outlawed then only the outlaws will have guns....

i recon that for 11 people ,5 of those being under 6 years old , our preps would last between 4.and 5 months . may be a little longer if we were carefull .thats more than enough time to let it all settle down .
YES i walked away mid sentence , you were boring me to death and my survival instincts kick in .

Agreed... surely this is what it's all about, avoiding the worst of it, as you said "Black Friday" is an event for the prepared to avoid in itself, well it was for me anyway, the first and most important thing about calling oneself a prepper is to have the will, and put together the means of avoiding crap like that, I mean "everything's going to hell so lets go shopping"
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.
