Multi Purpose Barrels (rainwater?)
Here is a link to a place (leather tannery, bookbinding equipment etc) which sells food grade plastic barrels, similar to agricultural propcorn barrels. I have one of these I use as a tanning tank, but plan on getting a couple more and adapting them to collect rainwater from my gutterings. Thought they might come in handy if folks are interested? From personal experience, they`re reliable (I got mine within days) and fairly inexpensive and the barrel arrived in great, clean condition.

Not a bad price either when you compare them to the cost of Butts

They really are good. We are about the wettest place in the UK up here (the ground is very peaty and soaks it all up like a sponge) so may as well make use of all that free water.

That's a very good price especially when it includes shippingCarrot Cruncher wrote:Not a bad price either when you compare them to the cost of Butts
Being clamp topped makes them even better for water butts or food storage barrels.
