Hi debbor,

Unsure whether you've been given ideas for your food preps, but there's a website that sell discounted food (60% of the things are short dated i believe - but the date for each product is given individually)

I've used this site for almost 2 years now, and i've never had a hitch using them. I'm not associated with them but over the 2 years they have saved me a tonne of money in food preps.

Website is here: approvedfood.co.uk

I know quite a few people on here will know of the site as it has been mentioned before (this forum is what lead me to it). But have a look on there, and also take a gander at the delivery details.

another vote for approved foods . we had a delivery from them a few days ago . if you stick to tinned and dried goods ,i don`t think you can really go wrong were ever you buy from .
YES i walked away mid sentence , you were boring me to death and my survival instincts kick in .

You should get out camping when you get a chance Debbor - test out your kit and get familiar. Bring everything you have and learn to use it efficiently. Anything that you don't know you need, you'll find yourself wanting for on your trip. Then you can start adding things to your list and completing your kit.

How much did you get your radoi for ?? I've seen that model online for anywhere between £30 to £68, just interested to know what the normal price is.
