Got rid of some of my teenagers old toys to the school and now freed up storage space under the spare bed. Time to fill a roll out storage box of tins and juice cartons :)

Looking forward to my new larger dehydrator coming in and am researching dehydrator recipes. Not necessarily for long term storage, just to eat and enjoy. When I am growing dandelion and chickweed, I can dehydrate that an use the crispy dried chickweed ground up in the blender as a high nutrition condiment and soup additive and I can spread puree of fruit and spices on the dandelion leaves and then eat that dehydrated and raw for a cheap nutritious snack.

Now the cheap shops (99p Stores, B+M etc) are getting the spring gardening stuff in again, it would make sense to get more growbags and free standing window boxes to place on the patio for when it gets warm again and sow out the chickweed and dandelion seeds in that so that i can just get out in the morning and harvest my greens for smoothies, salads and the like.

I should imagine (but am not sure) that chickweed and dandelion are hardy plants that will carry on giving out leaves and shoots and thus may give me a good supply of greenery to eat to get my micronutrients.

put snow shovel by back door

Just chucked snow chains in the car boot

Since ordering a new key ring torch my old one has started working flawlessly  think it's attached to me after 14 years on my keys  (went for the maglite led solitar in the end due to the reliability of the old standard bulb one.. )

A minor break through, Her Majesty consented to me putting a sleeping bag in the back of her car, she drew the line at a smally gas stove and entrenching tool though.

that is becoming a thing of the past, with just about every new car coming with an inflation kit and a spare wheel an option all extra. Got caught out like that with the Ford Fusion hit a pothole, wheel deflated, no spare so had to call RAC . I can see that the extra pressing for the spare wheel well becoming a thing of the past SWMBO wonders why i have a brew kit in the car?
