Just saying hi

Post by SgtP3pper »

I've been browsing the forum for a few months after I stumbled upon an article in wired magazine online about a UK man preparing for the end of the world :D
That was when I first heard the term prepper, but in a couple of small ways I'd already been doing it. Anyway the whole thing resonates with me so I've been following and prepping a bit more since.

Thanks. If i'm honest its not for the zombie apocalypse, but i just like the idea of having stuff in stock should there be economic issues, or widespread issues with the utilities. Keeping food and fuel in, having the cars stocked should we breakdown somewhere etc.

What? You saying there's no zombies?

Quite a lot of us are prepping for the same reasons as you, there's stacks of great info on here and people are always willing to share. Dig in and have fun

Big welcome. This is probably the sanest and friendliest group of people who are all finding out new ways to look after themselves that you will ever see.
