My first Carry
Re: My first Carry
its a good little bag id love to see sum pictures.. but u should replace ur extendable baton with a large 6D maglight it's legal to carry and just as effective for the purpose ud use a baton for with the added bonus of having a good torch to hand.. as for knives most if not all fixed blades are illegal in public area's/town centres etc but u can carry any folding knife up to 3 inch's if u can provide a good reason to have it on ur person e.g for work or any other none criminal activities

Not exactly right there Raz.
Fixed blades, locking folders and non-locking folders with over three inches of cutting edge can only be carried in a public place with 'Good Reason' (should also be transported in a suitable manner such as camping knife packed in the rucksack, chef's knives in a roll or case..... Not hanging inverted from your tac-vest )
Non-locking folders with a sub three inch cutting edge* can be carried at any time just because you want to...... Subject to other security restrictions.
However, if you do have an otherwise legal EDC knife and a copper thinks you might be up to no good it can still be classed as an offensive weapon. This means you could be charged with "Possession of a bladed artical" as well as whatever it is they think you've done..... Use common sense and don't take your pocket knife on a demo or to a football stadium.
*Not blade, if the blade is close to three inches the cutting edge can be over.... And that could be a whole world of hurt

Re: My first Carry
Hi all,
My EDC is my normal brown bag, it goes everywhere I go whenever I go out anywhere besides the gardens. In it I always have:-
pen and paper
a small amount of cash,
keys,
small sewing kit,
a few plasters,
pain killers,
repeat prescription ( Its there in case of accident and it can be seen what medication I take on a daily basis).
small address book with next of kin telephone numbers etc. (again in case of accident).
Umbrella,
Sun glasses ( normally summer time)
Tissue.
cough sweets.
Chewing gum.
antibacterial gel.
Ive seen a few things some off the others have in your first carry, which im going to add, im also preparing another EDC, which I will use for longer periods away from home, eg couple of days..
