Thanks everyone, some very welcoming comments there, it is appreciated. I thought I had posted in the new members section, the joy of inexperience!

I will check in now and then, I'll have a read through some more posts now, try to get the hang of this forum lark........

Brilliant intro, welcome to UKP! Just read your other posting too which is thought provoking!

Do you can, dehydrate or preserve your own food supplies? Would be interested to hear about that if you do?
