It's just under 30,000 words, and this is the blurb: Imagine you're out at work as usual, or on a day out, shopping or seeing friends. You're maybe twenty miles, or even one hundred miles, away from home; suddenly, you hear there's an emergency, and all public transport has been shut down with public broadcasts suspended. You don't know what the emergency is, but you know the shutdown is probably going to go on for quite a while. What do you do?
This book is about that situation: what might happen, what you might do, how you could take some simple precautions in advance that would do a great deal to safeguard your situation. There are no easy answers, but reading this book will help you understand the kinds of issues you may face, and the kinds of questions you need to ask yourself. Managing to get back home safe to your loved ones in a difficult time, in these days of long-distance commutes and general daily travel is an important, maybe a lifesaving, skill.
I'd appreciate it if people could leave a positive review

Good stuff! Junmist, there's a kindle app that can be downloaded onto any computer, if thats any help. This is the 2nd piece of feedback that digital is good but kindle not necessarily so, so when the exclusivity deal runs out, I'll have a re-jig.
