Glad you like it here, we try to keep it balanced but with a wide variety of topics without tooo much moderation

We have over 1000 acres of woodland to play in perhaps we could think about doing a gathering of anyone who wanted to meet up?
That sounds really tempting, and I'm sure many members here would be interested in that!

Ooh, I have a brain tanned sheephide that was a bugger to do! (sheepskin can be awful greasy)
I use chrome or Lutan depending on what I`m tanning for. Chrome seems to give a more durable rug but Lutan is for mounting due to good stretch. I`ve both veg and brain tanned.
Where is the woodland? I bet it`s too far for me

Oh yes
echo that - found out my OH was planning to buy me a bushcraft day/overnight thingy for christmas but he didn't in the end.
Maybe something we could bring the kids to????????
It would be great to meet up with others off the forum.
Do you have a campsite or other accomodation?
We are on the edge of the new forest just outside a town called ringwood. With our woodland we can camp, fell trees, have fires really do whatever we like so if we did have a gathering of sorts we have no restrictions and its great for families!
