Installed a new rain catcher and water butt. Got some freebies from http://www.savewater.co.uk/ and put them to good use. Did a trial of various different companies tinned curries and found Lidls was to our liking and the cheapest :D

Working 60 hour plus weeks to pay off debts , you know the old saying make hay whilst the sun shines , and the field has been harrowd , rolled and fertilized for this seasons haylage , and looking at a horsebox for the wife . Lifes busy

Actually put money aside into my emergency fund for the first time rather than paying off debt. Officially debt free bar the mortgage :) no other preps this week as I'm now frighteningly close to getting married. Total cost of wedding: £460 :D no point in getting back in to debt for it!

Funnily enough thats the plan ........ The only down side is she comes home again :o

Update... Horsebox bought 17ton MAN ridgid , huge living sleeps 5, carries , 6 ponies , gas hob /oven , 3 way fridge , own on board genny , battery bank , 2kw inverter , 500w solar panels . on roof,
Bits to do ,
Change all lights to led internal
Service everything
Ramp lights
Weld in third seat /belt
One new cctv camera for reversing
Beef up security

Honestly I didnt want it for any other reason ;)

Congratulations on all counts! Debt free, getting married, getting married wisely :) I love it!

As for poppypiesdad - thats one big horsebox! I really hope your wife is "on board" with that :lol: (geddit? I couldn't resist :lol: ).

Lol I can check but I'm pretty sure I am! i can get a bit obsessive over not spending money :D but we'll be wed, looking respectable and have a nice meal with family after. Plus I can sell my 22ct gold antique ring for more than I paid for it, even in scrap value, if it all goes pear shaped :D hope for the best, prepare for the worst!
