That is all it takes. Well done.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Had to think about this one with the new horsebox purchase as we live , cook , sleep in the same area, fortuinetly its a cut through meaning you can get to the main truck doors as well but a one way out point is the sleeping berths above the cab , only two small windows

So we've got glass hammers at all windows 5 in total and in the cab

2 x 2kg dry powder extingushers one living , one cab
2 smoke alarms main area
1 carbon monoxide alarm kitchen bit

So j guess its not just the home to think of

Look at adding a 6 or 9l AFFFoam spray (ideally frost protected for winter) to the unit..

Powder has its place for quick knock down BUT say a blown turbo blasting oil onto a hot exhaust. or upholstery thats been burning for a while . Once the powder cloud has dissipated the fire will re ignight ..

its a forign video with some odd sound effects but it ilustrates my point

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLa6JZ8y2W4 (note thats an off shore foam jet not spray)

Foam cools and blankets thus better .. Likewise burning sawdust/ shavings/ equilige will be scattered by powder.. Plus its noisy and gives you the shits if inhaled or ingested.......

Good points. However i was going for the quick knowdown to get out , as long as we are all outside and away from the problem , then it will be a fire brigade call out , I know it might sound silly , its insured , can be replaced .We cant.
Good vids

Those wire ladders - have a practice.

I used to do potholing and we had them for drops. They aren't easy - they seem to move away from the place you want to put your next foot.

most escape ladders are differently designed most run down against the wall and have stand offs so your body weight holds the rungs in place

Some say I go too far... But can you really?... Mine is based on a video I'm subscribed to on YouTube where a guy has his fire plan at a cache... Only mine consists of my trusty old sports car I use on rare occasions... In the boot of that has clothes and enough cash& cards & food 2 way radios spare iPhone to do those involved with me at least one month.. The only thing I need to grab when I leave is the key to the cache everything is good to go once I open the door... No one knows what's in there or how to start it but me and the tanks already brimmed.. Garage is alarmed to my phone too and car keys hidden well in there... A fire at home is best left to professionals to tackle and chances are you'd lose pretty much everything
