You have preps, just make sure you can use them.

Ok, we all have preps, but can we use them??? Well, ahem....

I'm getting a bit short on coins until next weeks payday, also have no where near enough fuel in the car to last until then, no worries i thought smugly, thinking of the Jerry cans of diesel i have in my shed, yeah well... having a 3 yr old Mondy with Ford's new anti theft, anti put wrong fuel in car filler caps, my Jerry can nozzle wouldn't fit, even trying a different one that did go in and using a funnel, i just poured diesel out of the overflow on to my nice clean wheels and drive, i just stood there looking at all this fuel and no way of using it :( so almost had to go and ask for the dredded sub from the boss, but as look would have it; i tried various forums and found that Ford in all its wisdom supplied said Mondy with a little gizmo that sorts problem out, a little fuel can adapter that allows Jerry can to pour fuel in with no dripping, thank you.

So fellow preppers, my stories little moral is, make sure you can use your preps and not find out you cant when it is too late, so when you are sat there, snowed in, but you have several hundred tins of food, make sure you have a tin opener or when you are surrounded with several hundred weight of candles....Yup, make you also have some matches or lighters.
