B&Q candles bank holiday offer
Re: B&Q candles bank holiday offer
When buying candles please for safety's sake make sure you have the correct size of holders before burning them. All naked flames, no matter how small, should be burned in a glass holder and for extra security placed on to a metal dish in case of breakages.
Tea light holders are not expensive and protects the flame from flickering, giving a longer burn time.
Larger candles can be put into hurricane glass holders with sand in the bottom for candle stability. Ensure the jar is tall enough so the flame is not right at the top of the jar.
Always keep out of reach of children and pets and never leave unattended, it takes a second to start a fire.
Never leave the matches (if using) near the candles, it could be tempting for younger members of the family/visitors children.
A proper snuffer is much safer than blowing out any naked flame and you are less at risk of burning yourself too.
Basic safety I know but better to be safe.
