picked one of these up from tesco for £3 in the summer toys clear out sale

which going by the 1.5m diameter by 400mm heigh gives a storage capacity of about 700l (155 uk gallons)
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine

I picked up a water bob not long ago. Think I had to use the US version of amazon. It seems pretty handy, its a giant bladder you fill in the bath tub with a pump on top to access the water. Think it was 20 quid including shipping.

Its similar (smaller and not as heavy duty) to what i have seen used by fire crews. We had a couple of 5 or 10,000 gallon ones for the rural fire with a hose outlet fixed into the side.

They are a good idea for emergency use and at that price everyone should have 2!

Does it come with a cover? Some of them have a cover which is just a round sheet of plastic with elastic around the rim. Good for keeping floaters out if its got water in for a couple of days

Bought a couple of those last year from Lidl at the end of season for 50p each.

Just wish I had a wheelbarrow now :mrgreen:

They're OK if you have more than one bathroom/shower. :o
