NIGHT TIME VISION BINOCULARS

Whether Bugging In or Bugging Out these might be a good idea for Safety and Security issues, what are your thoughts?

If the people threatening your security have a torch it may become more of a hindrance.

I like the idea in principle but could never find any that were the right quality at a price that was compelling for what would be limited use.

The Yukon Exelon 3x50 isn't bad. It's all I've got so I can't compare it with alternatives.

The cheap ones are pretty hopeless. The bottom of the pile are IR and they use an IR light source to work, this means anyone with proper PNG's can see your "IR torch".
Then you have the gen 1 and 2 these are just about passable but mostly rely on added IR for decent viewing, same problem as above.
For decent quality you need gen 3, these are really good... but very expensive sadly.

How about a IR spotter used when we go hunting same as bino's ish but you have a tft lcd screen instead of looking into the bino's you can make 1 with a view out to 100+ yds for £50 ish depending on the IR illuminator.
