I forget who said it - but somebody mentioned that after TSHTF we would only have UK food to hand. And that's true - so maybe we could do some recipes/menus for home-grown seasonal food ?

Pheasants
Fish
Funghi
Berries
Fruit
Spuds
Greens (not Kale)

Broccoli, cabbage, sprouts, leeks, Parsnips, beetroot, French beans, Cauliflower, Winter Radishes, Endive, Spinach, Turnips, Swiss chard, Celery, Swedes, lettuces

Apples, pears, Cranberries though Apples and Pears would be "from store"

summer fruit would include strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, moving onto autumn raspberries, blackberries.

veg: carrots ( a lot of our summer crop went in the freezer and we've only just finished them!), runner beans, sweetcorn, pumpkins,

and everything that gnole said :D
