Hello from Northamptonshire

Hello all. YoungJacobite here or just YJ is fine. 19 year old Scottish lad living in the Northamptonshire area. Been prepping for 2-3 years now and I think my mindset and priorities for prepping are finally in place having just revamped my Bug Out Bag to what I've deemed to be more suitable than what my younger more naive self would have believed.

Prepping for me comes naturally as I have a just in case attitude and have always been a great fan of most things outdoors, camping, hiking, most things bushcraft. Also into crossbows, this comes from a love of the engineering of weapons and not a "I want to look cool" purchase as some would believe. Big fan of bladed weapons/tools as I think the thought and work that goes into designing, making and using them is fascinating and is overlooked way too often.

I keep fit by loaded marches (TAB's), going to the gym, Krav Maga which I have just started and my job also requires me to be on my feet walking round almost constantly for 12 hour shifts.

Just happened to stumble across this forum as I've been a member of a mainly US based but with a few other international ties (including myself) thrown in. I won't link or post the page up as I'm not sure what the rules of that are just yet but they're a good bunch, full of info and have made me feel welcome. They're great if you want information on firearms as well.
