We have been to three of their concerts, two in Bristol and one in Birmingham, still waiting for them to return to touring the south so we can get to see them again. Great value which is not always the case these days.

The Ship is a good one, as I "took my chance with a red headed girl" which is one of the lines from the song

I`m fond of The Old Boys, myself. Um. The song, I mean! But my alltime Runrig fave is probably Hearts of Olden Glory. Or maybe Hearthammer. Och, I just like them all, lol.
I went to one of their concerts in Nottingham when I was there some years ago. They had the crowd up on their feet and dancing in front of their seats within minutes. :)

They do tend to draw a good crowd, We had front row centre circle in Birmingham, bit difficult to jump up and join in up there

I think we have more than 8 of their albums, I am quite happy to fill the CD multiplayer with just the Runrig discs

O I like Runrig too. Not near stables and not near the coast. All that's near me is heather and sheep!

This stuff might work. Also, you need to bulk up your soil with garden compost (I mean the stuff that comes out of compost bins, not the bags of multi-purpose compost that comes from B and Q!) Does your local council collect green waste or food? If so, they might have a facility where you can buy the resulting compost. I know Manchester has a scheme like this - Fairfield composting or something, it's called.

You need to start composting whatever you bed your chooks on (newspaper? Wood shavings?) along with their poop. When it rots down it'll be fantastic for your garden.

Maybe collecting sheep droppings will do, it is only grass after all, much the same as horses, just need less when it is horsey poo.

And of course you now have chicken poo

Smiley - that Rockdust looks great and there's a supplier not too far away from me, thanks for that ;)
I have three compost bins but had a look inside today and the stuff is dry roots and branches, not compost.
Sheep droppings are no good. I forget why but I know they're no good. Even if I was mad enough to creep around a field picking the bloody things up.

Compost bins are long term things, We had one or two in the garden, the "best" one took five years to mature, then it went into just one raised bed on the lotty, we now have two big ones on the go, but it could be a while to be ready

We have several tubs of chicken poo pellets to add though :D
