Been lurking around different forums for a while now and feel that am slowly getting up to par with ideas and theories on prepping. Admittedly struggling to put some things into practice
Living where I live also make it hard to get out and about as well.My line of paid work makes me constantly think “what if...” before I do most actions, (nothing life threatening) so that in turn has made me think of prepping because so many what ifs can make you turn to preparedness and skills in a tight spot. In my mind though I think whatever could happen, it’ll be society in general and how that will react/change that will tests us all.
Some people advocate bugging out, some bugging in. I’m trying for both because of the “what if...” factor, I may not be able to make that choice.
Am still learning, reading, watching a lot, not a nut who thinks he’s a real life Mad Max. Just quietly plodding along thinking of things, buying kit, learning what not to buy after buying it and hoping it’ll never be needed.
At the moment am starting a project to build a Polish lavvu tent wood stove with a 30 cal ammo box(yes a 30). Am collecting bits and pieces so watch out for some cries of help in the coming future. This will be my 1st main self build project.
