greetings from Northumberland

Post by midnightbell »

Well after a quite a while thinking about it I have finally started prepping. My other half was quite sceptical until the other week when we had a power cut for over an hour, while i was at work and she was able to find candles, lighters and had a good store of logs for the stove Now our emergency food supply is building up nicely. Also in that week there was the incident where payments to HSBC did not go through and some people did not get paid on time, so now she realises the importance of not relying on banks.
I am looking forward to learning from all of the members on this site and hope I will be able to contribute back

Hello and welcome to the forum. My other half has no idea about my prepping and wouldn't get it all so that restricts me quite a bit. It's good that your OH is on-board from the start.
