Wilkinsons now has 8 AA duracell power plus (with 10 yr life) for £3.95 - less than 50p per battery. Forget prepping, stock up for Christmas!

There was a problem a year or so back with fake duracell batteries on sale at some reputable stores (they'd got caught) so no matter what you buy or from where theres an element of risk. I tend to buy stuff from different places well apart (and hope some of it's good)

I went to Wilkinson to get some of the batteries and the stand was empty :roll: they didn't have any more out the back and didn't know if they would come back in at that price. Grab them whilst you can!

My prepping consists of bugging out by bicycle so any comments are likely to be based on that scenario.

Having picked up some Duracells from Wilkes having seen the previous post I went into 'Poundstretcher' today. They currently have them at £2.95 for a pack of 8 AA.
