Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

The dutch oven I'm more familiar with is slightly different. A quick perusal of the Urban Dictionary will cure your curiosity if you're not familiar with the 'other' type of dutch oven.

If you go to camp-sites that allow on ground fires or own land their useful for car camping, I'd not want to carry cast iron cookware if I was on foot for any length of time. if you get one, do a search on Google for Dutch oven monkey bread, its one of the best things you can use them for.

Re: dutch oven
If weight might be an issue, theres always cast Ali
This Dutchie might not be the ideal design but its priced competitively with the similar size one from Ronnie. I can't find the true weights of either on Amazon but Ronnie's ships at 5 kgs and this one at 2.7kgs.
Not got one.......yet

Re: dutch oven
I don't consider it a dutch oven unless its cast iron, they are made from it for a good reason. Heat retention and resistance from damage is really important, as you will be hanging this over the fire with hot coals on top, or what I quite often do, directly on the coals (mine has little legs) with more coals on top.ForgeCorvus wrote:If weight might be an issue, theres always cast Ali
