Prepping or life skills

Post by Deep Thinker »

Hi just joined so newbie to site,Have to say there are some really interesting learning points here so thankyou all for that.Funny how folk make prepping out to be some new fad ,really it is skills my grandparents and parents have tought me and I am lucky for that although I see it as life long learning. I am not as organised as some however I have accumulated useful kit as the years go on and could pull it together in ten minutes . My main thing I am not sure about as my next bit of kit is a good all round knife that will do nearly it all. I have two small strong ones but no full tang .Any views /experiences gratefuly recieved.

welcome to the forum.. im not a fan of massive knives for bushcraft and general run of the mill jobs i prefer my Mora knife. u can pick them up fairly cheap along with a foldable saw for less than £20 and there awsome :)

Thankyou all for the welcome, I have heard about the Mora knives and get a good write up so will look more closely at them .I also don't want some massive knife but something easily handled that will last.I do have a small folding saw and really rate it as can carry easily and light.
Cheers
