Hi from Dorset

Post by bunkai »

Disillusioned with wage slavery I have been planning my exit strategy from a career in software development for the last couple of years. Originally this had nothing to do with prepping for anything in particular, just an overwhelming desire to become self sufficient and debt free. My plan is to buy some land, raise my own livestock and grow my own food. I started converting an old Vario 614D coach into a motorhome around 1 year ago. I have come to the conclusion that what I am actually doing is 'bugging out' before the SHTF. I am prepping for financial crisis, pandemic and maybe even WW3 the way things are going. We can our own meats and are gradually building up our food stockpile.

Anyway, hello!

Hi, thanks for the reply. That's longer than a prison sentence! but I'm somewhere in that ball park, maybe a few years more.. I think software development eventually get's rid of you weather you like it or not. Contract/Save/Exit is my plan. The saving bit is not going so good though thanks to all the preps.
