im assuming this guy has quite extensive medical training? its not the sort of first aid kit id imagine most people would carry, especially having that smaller bag, plus 2 trauma kits in his truck (ive only watched this one video)

He was in the Navy so I imagine he had a basic level of first add training, plus some additional. Let's be honest, if someone's leaking blood everywhere I'm sure it's basic knowledge that you need to stem the flow otherwise their dead. Even with training the first time you see something really bad you go one of two ways, one you go into autopilot and just get it done, two your mind clears out.

Do a first aid course the basic St.John Ambulance course is £30 and last for a morning, covers CPR, Chocking, Bandaging. Anything else leave to the professionals.

That's all well and good if your near civilisation old advice on broken limbs re splinting comes in handy then
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine
