Hello
A question..........
I have a couple of Whitby Hand-warmers.
Recently the 'Felt' material within one of the Burners, has simply disintegrated.
I already have spare Burners, but don't wish to continue to have to purchase every time one reaches the end of its life.
Can anyone suggest a replacement, or has experience of making/adapting, an affective replacement for this material that I can acquire/make, both easily and/or cheaply in a lifetime quantity?

It's probably just fibreglass, but for what it's worth I'd buy new ones.
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

The word "Catalytic" leads me to doubt that there is a knit-it-yourself option.
It seems to use platinum and glass-fibre, glass-fibre is easy......
I hadn't heard of the product, care to review it for us?

I think theres a burner you light?, I'd suspect it's some sort of asbestos type of stuff, but I've not seen one and it's different to the ones I have, so I might be wrong.
I'm told the burners have a life of 90 burns or so.

Looks very similar to the zipo ones I have somewhere, I never really use them but the odd time I have they've been impressive
