Ooooh, I just saw that you wanted two/three courses...does the wine count as a course?

If not then I would stew some apples (we're assuming I have an apple tree in the garden...) with some sugar and a sprinkling of cinnamon and have that with custard.

You can have a hypothetical apple tree if you want, yes. But WINE IS NOT A COURSE MISS ! :mrgreen:

I didn't think about hypothetical apple trees. hmmm. anyway Lil if you're ever down in Sheffield let me know & you'll get a feeding, same goes to all of you. And I don't what kind of sad sober life you've lived Lil but in my family wine isn't a course it's the whole meal!!
