Re: Hello
I'm just prepping for myself at the moment, the misses said she would just rather get drunk and die than have to sleep in the woods. Lol.
I misread the questions so just to add: I'm prepping for every eventuality really, I personally think the most likely scenario is that the government may collapse which could be caused by many reasons; financial collapse, terrorism (especially at present) or a pandemic.

Hello Rob nice to see a fellow biker in here, i see you live in a cool part of the world, the one place i would consider moving too if i won the Lotto.
Looking at your wheels they look like Africa Twin of something on those line, for me i ride an 02 ST1300 Pan Euro, only had it a few months but for where I live in Central London it was my only real option, of getting out of here if it went t1ts up, and a decent load carrying girl, enjoy m8, oh yea was planning John o graots to Lands end this year but i have a feeling it may be 2017, something to do with lask of cash

I can't trust Govt or local Council to help me so i have to help myself.

Nice to see a fellow rider here. You were almost right, my bike it's the Africa Twin's little sister the TransAlp (same frame and share many parts).Alloneword wrote:Looking at your wheels they look like Africa Twin of something on those line, for me i ride an 02 ST1300 Pan Euro, only had it a few months but for where I live in Central London it was my only real option, of getting out of here if it went t1ts up, and a decent load carrying girl, enjoy m8, oh yea was planning John o graots to Lands end this year but i have a feeling it may be 2017, something to do with lask of cash![]()

Here's a close up with belly panel off just after I had fitted the engine bars.

Welcome to the forum, as already said good to see a fellow biker. I used to ride a Suzuki GSXF 600 (katana body shell) back in the day, but I had to sell it to contribute towards adult things - a house.
The transalp is a sturdy bike, I learned to ride on one of those machine. The v-twin engine is excellent.

If i had the funds i'd go for the GS with all the luggage kit, get everything in there including the kitchen sink
