Cheaper, yes. But as good as a Laplander? Unknown factor. I've got a Laplander, not used it yet but seen how it can slice through a tree limb with ease from vids.

Bought two saws today from ALDI £2.49 each, great bargain, great value.

Eventually I'd get grumpy with Economy ones breaking and end up buying the Quality one anyways...so might as well go for it from the start.

I picked up a "Wikinson Sword" one from B&Q for less than a tenner and it is a good bit of kit, at that price though I might be tempted to get a couple of the Aldi ones just as spares
