We are a couple in our 40s, well me only for a few months before I turn 50 !
We started prepping about 6 years ago, at that time for me it got obvious that all this will end bad or being optimistic in a way we havent thought and lived over the last decades.
At this time I traded Futures and Currencies as independent day trader, and therefor my background on believing in the usefulness of prepping and getting prepared is a financial one.
Over the last years we bought a lot of stuff, we tried out many things and we´ve made many many mistakes! Last year our prepper journey was down to a minimum, mostly because of being surprised and horrified on the speed our whole world decomposes. Since I am not feeding the financial moloch anymore with my time and money we are about to enter the prepper train again, buying less stuff, learning a lot more and making probably even more mistakes
