I picked up a £4.99 pack of 2 x LED torches + headlamp + AAA batteries. Thinking of a few more packs for my trading tub!

I picked up one of the washing bowl thingies, if I'd seen the collapsible buckets I'd have got a couple of those instead. Her Maj is swearing blind its no more camping for her so the washing bowl might not get much use (I'm not saying that's her 'part of ship' ) as I'm more likely to travel lighter if I go with a mate but I'm sure I'll find a use for it, or alternatively she'll buckle at some point and we'll go together again.

Those Aldi torches are ok, not fantastic but they don't flicker like the poundland ones do.

Often better to not buy just yet unless you're absolutely desperate as they often drop the prices after the promotion to clear.
