Long time member first post

Post by @TRider »

Hi folks,

I have been a member for a while but have not had the courtesy to introduce myself. This was highlighted by my recent attempts to add to a new thread about prepper phones!

I have followed the site for a while and found much useful information here. Personally I am not the sort of prepper that believes in storing three years worth of baked beans under the stairs, but I am a great believer in having good kit ready and most importantly knowledge, which will probably get you further than kit in the right (or wrong) situation.

My wife would tell you I'm a torch collector too!

Welcome. What prepping situations do you envisage?
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

Hello and welcome to the Forum. :)
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

It's always good to join in :)

Phones seem to be a bit of a thing at the moment, but don't forget you can make a local network of comms from empty baked beans tins

Seriously tho, like jansman said, what are you prepping for? Is telecoms your main interest?
