Hope all reading this are well. I found this site by looking for a UK based preppers site rather than the USA style, which seems to involve 10,000 rounds of ammo and an armful of weaponary.
I also wanted to find some like-minded people to chat to and learn from and maybe throw my ideas and experience onto things I have experienced.
I realise security is always an issue so won't reveal all about myself, of course (no fun in that anyway, hoho
I am a chap and mid 30s. I have done bits and pieces in my lifetime and I am more than willing to pay to get good quality.
I have had a bit of military experience and have changed my career a few times, professional 'medic', professional 'medic' trainer (which I still do for some extra bucks) and currently work but won't say more I'm afraid, sos.
I am concerned that people often think take little personal responsibility, a modern issue methinks and am impressed with those who help others and themselves.
I am just starting to prepare and have been on bushcraft courses recently to get the brain into the spirit of things and am getting my gear ready, generally to bug in though.
I believe in the rule of threes, 3 mins without oxygen=bad, 3 hours without heat/cold=bad, 3 days without water=bad, 3 weeks without food=bad, 3 months without human contact=bad, for the brain.
But I alway try to keep a open mind, so suggestions are always gratefully received!
Take care and be safe!
PS love the smilies!
