Long Time Prepper - First Time Forum User

Post by JonnyT »

Hello,

Such is the rules of the forum that I have to say a few words introducing myself. This is something I'm never that good at but here it goes:

My name is Jonny, I've been prepping in one form or another for a few years now, mainly long life food supply, water storage solutions and survival kit. I'm a keen camper and like to go wild camping with minimal kit as often as modern life allows.

Currently I live in a one bedroom flat with my wife so my preps to date have been limited by the storage capacity of my home. Fortunately we're in the process of buying a three bed property with a garden and a garage so I've got big plans for eventually going as off-grid as I can in a suburban home.

Because I'm starting a new phase in prepping I thought it would be prudent to join an online community and try to gleam as much information as I can from experienced members on line, as well as documenting my progress with my new house and sharing my successes (and inevitable failures) with you all.

I don't really know what else to say at the moment so I guess if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask away either here or PM me.

Sounds great Jonny! I bet you're looking forward to moving to that house :) Love the sound of going off-grid - my fuel company just put my direct debit up by ... uh ... 50%!!! Just realised as I typed that  full off-grid would be a good move for me too.
