Hi all

Just thought I would introduce myself.

Been prepping for some years without really knowing I was doing it untill recently discovering the word "prepping". Always been intrested in survival since childhood. I have always had a "what if" approach to most things so have had back ups.

Most of the kit I have aquired does not have a single purpose/theme in mind I try and cover as many possibilities as possible however the main concern that really got me looking more into this is wide spread complete civil unrest

Already read some great posts on the forums and taken away many hints and tips already. Woukd be great to dm find some local like minded people to exchange ideas and beer.

Welcome, I'm a bit further south than you in sunny Fife, I hope you find lots of useful stuff on here, I had a similar start to yourself, I only heard the term 'prepper' fairly recently and when I had a wee neb around the internet to find out I had a Eureka moment, at last I had a label to account for my 'quirks'.

Depending on what you're prepping for there are all sorts of threads on here so you should find something that's useful or thought provoking. Enjoy.
