I've grown them in a greenhouse when I was younger, and we got a good crop from it...You might be able to do the same up your way...

Realseeds do a couple of heirloom varieties, but none are your usual supermarket cucumbers!

From what I can remember, the plants grew to be about 5 foot tall!

You might be able to get windowsill variety, no idea :?

If you have a south facing wall, you could grow it in a container. Cover with plastic, rigidity provided with old pvc pipes. Impromptu greenhouse that is effective. Remove cover when warm, cover up for the colder nights of blowing gales.
It grows tall so support something at the wall and it could well work.

We've managed 2 years of growing with a fantastic crop BUT in a greenhouse and it almost takes over.......... so probably not in your house :!:

We grow a lot of zucchini. It grows well and is wonderful both fresh and pickled.
Grows in containers as well.
It creeps and you can lead it up easily.
