Hi from MK

Post by Meta »

Hi All,

Not really new to prepping - have had a BOB in my car and an EDC kit for a few years now. Am very interested in how others do things & am also really interested in finding out if there are any areas suitable in/around Milton Keynes & Buckinghamshire where I can take my other half (and potentially kids) to show them some basics on shelter, water and fire :)

Cheers

Hi Meta,

Welcome. It's a little way from you, but Church Farm near Stevenage is good for an overnighter with the little'uns. You can have an open fire and camp in the woods under tarp if you wish!

Thanks for the warm welcome :) will have a look at the woods mentioned. I'm not too worried about a bit of a trek.

Am keen to find somewhere I can have an open fire without landing in trouble

Meta,
If you want to see the woodland areas of Church Farm as well as the open camping field then have a look on youtube for Funky Prepper's 2016 summer preppers meet videos.
It is a very good and friendly farm and the staff just let you get on with it but always near if you need them.

I give a second to Church Farm and will be taking more of my family next year.

Welcome to the forum.
