you can pick these up for about £5 for 10? i've just brought 10 12 hour ones, a couple of these babys can light up a small sized room!

light, strong and no need for batteries! good choice for any BOB or BOV!

Hi, where did you buy them from?

And now I have a mental image of people holding up glow-in-the-dark babies with illuminated nappies ....

ebay, just typed in cyalume,

And if your desperate for light and you have a baby, maybe lit up nappies are a good idea ;)

(edited to say cyalume, better results on ebay without the 's' on the end of it!!!)

High Intensity Yellow are the most useful IMO. The official glow time is 30 mins but I find they're good for 4 hours. Unless you want light for up to 10/15 minutes in which case the 5 minute orange are amazing (you'll need to pack sunglasses :D )

Add some of these so you can "turn them off"

it covers up the cyalume, only letting light come out from one side, meaning you can choose the direction the light goes

Or you can rotate the outer cover to completely concealing the stick, in effect switching it off.
