Good Morning - just a quick Hello -only woken up quite recently and started my prepping journey - have bought a yaesu vx8 even though i know nothing about it - Help! - i notice also there is a group section, so contact with locals would be a good thing -anyone in London didn't see a group - have a great day

Welcome to the forum, there's a fair few radio guys on here who can give you pointers on that front. As for the rest of it, what kind of stuff are you prepping for ? There's tons of good info on here.
