Which Escape tool?

Post by Brambles »

I know there's some switched on types here. I'm considering adding an escape tool to my daily bag, but know nothing about them, on doing a bit of research I've managed to get it down to two:

A RESQME: https://www.spservices.co.uk/item/Brand ... Gwod000O_Q

or a Lifesaver hammer: https://www.spservices.co.uk/item/EMI_E ... 825_1.html

Ta. I'll get one of them then. :)

I suppose Arco or someplace like that is more likely to have the genuine article.

Galls used to make a metal rescue hammer, not sure if it's still made but it comes in a nice belt pouch and is built like a tank, had a seatbelt cutter and an oxygen bottle and gas valve key, and a set of screwdriver bits that worked with it. Used mine a lot, had it years and it's still like new.

It's solid mate, I might have got mine from SP services medical suppliers (not sure I'm afraid) but that was a good few years back now.
