Doing an online shop and will be bolstering supplies of pasta, sugar and tea. Also filling the freezer and ordering a bulk pack of meat to make meals to freeze. Impending back surgery is highlighting the usefulness of all this food to DH, who has realised that even if I'm out of action for a couple of weeks, there's enough stuff in the house to feed all six of us, without him doing more than pick up fresh milk, veg and fruit. And we could even do without that, if it came down to it.

Costco again on Thursday to take advantage of a friend's business account which gets extra discount - two 40-packs of loo roll and another sack of 20kg sack of rice.

Was meant to be going out on the bike today but I ordered a big new shiney shed last night (no not as big as yours gnoley ;) ) and had to lay a base for it today. Also had to lay another base for the old small shed as well which is going to house the genny but needed moving to a better location. I had forgotten how heavy 600 x 600 slabs were

On the plus side I got a bit of a tan :D

You went for a slab base rather than a poured concrete one?

Did you use a good sand bed under or some mortar, or a dry mix of sand and cement that will "set" when it has absorbed enough water.

Did you put a good membrane underneath to stop the weeds from breaking through, and if you have it for your genny are you putting a good lump of conrete underneath the shed to provide an anchor point to chain it down too?

I forgot how many barrows of stone is held in a dumpy bag, and they dropped it 50 mtrs from where I wanted to put it down

Have "set aside" a place for my genny for the shed today, and yesterday I managed to get a second hand kip mat to cut up for vibration and sound-proofing the base, it was being binned in a charity shopso added it to my stash, he also gave me a new and unused camping gas stove, which they aren't allowed to sell because of safety regs, I just give a donation when I get such items. Hope you are going to add some photo's of you skill based prep CC ;)
