jooqey, on the water front, you can also use any drinks containers that you would normally throw out. We purchase a lot of 2L Pepsi Max bottles in a week which before I started prepping would just be thrown away. Now I simply take off the labels, wash them out and fill them with water and store them away. I can easily get a gallon a week from doing this and it doesn't cost a thing.

Just ordered some butterfly sutures and some sleeve nuts to finish hilting a blade. Ordered a Ganzo multitool and Spyderco copy knife in the week for my BOB - belt kit already has a Gerber and Spyderco.

Baked my first ever loaf of bread at the weekend as part of my 'back to basics' education :D . Just flour, yeast, salt and water. It actually tasted really good as well!
