Ten Items
Re: Ten Items
Oh gosh, I'm going to have to think about this one! Presumably water doesn't count!
Would probably be along the lines of rice, pasta, jars of tomato sauces, selection of herbs/stock, oats, broth mix, dried fruit, olive or other oil, flour and some kind of dried beans. Would anyone choose anything different? From this I could make a number of different meals and hopefully they would all store well.
See, how good am I - I chose dried fruit over chocolate!

What about salt and sugar for preserving - would that feature?
Re: Ten Items

4. Broth Mix

6. Stock Cubes
7. Smash

Re: Ten Items
1. rice
2. dried/tinned fruit
3. baked beans
4. tea bags
5. strong bread flour
6. tinned mixed veg
7. stock cubes
8. tomato ketchup
9. sugar
and of course......
10. chocolate
Mainly because our family will eat all of these things, all can be cooked in one/two pans - useful if bugging out or no power. Flour to make chipattis, tea bags --well, I need tea!!!!!
I think this would be my initial 'eat now' list but would probably have another one for 'items to help perserve/store food I've grown'.
