Ladies & gents advice required please, I want to try using a leather strop to dress the edges back up on my edged impliments. Any suggestions as to a good stropping compound which can be brought in the UK?

i picked up a cheap strop off Amazon was about £15 and i got flexicut gold compound free with it & works a treat

Have a google for Starkie Blue. I use it with my strop to get a nice shiny (and hair-popping sharp) edge.

It's another name for Starkey Blue.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Just about to humbly apologise to Woodsman1 having looked around at Starkey Blue and found it called "Smurf Poo." But in my defence slightly more of a clue would have been a tad helpful?

Woodsman1 ta matey.....every day is a learning day until the one they nail the lid on my coffin! So I learned something that day Starkey Blue = Smurf Poo.
